Pamela Anderson Makes Neon Orange Look Like the Easiest Color to Pull Off

However, Reese Witherspoon's iconic character may be shocked to learn that orange has become one of the hottest colors around, thanks in part to the rise of citrus dressing, its prevalence in movies like Marty Supreme, and even a bit of ongoing New York Knicks mania. That being said, it's not always the easiest color to pull off. But if anyone can do it, it's Pamela Anderson. On Sunday evening, the Baywatch alum attended the 2026 amfAR gala in Venice, Italy, where she stole the show in a clementine-colored look, courtesy of Calvin Klein Collection by Veronica Leoni. The Golden Globe nominee's ensemble consisted of a strappy satin gown with a square, sleeveless neckline and two pleats running down the stomach. For an extra element of drama, the sheath dress was paired with a matching oversize shawl, which wrapped around Anderson like an opera coat. Finally, she accessorized with diamond stud earrings and white pumps, while her hair was styled in spiraling, tube-like curls that framed her face for a touch of vintage glamour. amfAR is a non-profit organization dedicated to ending the HIV/AIDS epidemic, through research and scientific grants. As such, the group also focuses on co-infections that affect those living with HIV, like hepatitis C. On Sunday, Anderson was honored at the ceremony with the Award of Courage, where she spoke up about her hepatitis C infection in a candid speech. 'It was a death sentence. That's what my doctor told me—that I probably had around 10 years to live,' the Last Showgirl star said of her diagnosis in the '90s. 'I'm sure that colored and corrupted my decisions. It was not fear of death, but fear of what might happen to my young children. It turned my life inside out.' After a cure was found in 2011, Anderson was ultimately able to become 'hep C free' in 2015, but she claims it took 'everything I had in my bank' to pay for it. She closed her speech by noting: 'My truth has come through my work, finding ways to express myself through the arts. It gave me the ammunition I needed, a fertile life to use and play in. I'm not a victim, I'm a victor. I am strong and capable, more now than I could ever dream of… I'm not the damsel in distress, no matter how easy that role is to play.'
