H M Sultan Haitham, Kagame talks focus on cooperation and investment

By OMAN NEWS AGENCY (ONA) Salalah – His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and President Paul Kagame of the Republic of Rwanda held an official session of talks at Al Hosn Palace in Salalah on Monday evening. Discussions focused on cooperation and investment in mining, renewable energy, food security, land ports, logistics and healthcare, with the aim of strengthening investment partnership between the two countries in a manner that meets the aspirations of their peoples and serves their mutual interests. The talks were attended from the Omani side by HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs; HH Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs; HH Sayyid Marwan bin Turki Al Said, Governor of Dhofar; Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court; Gen Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nu'amani, Minister of the Royal Office; Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, Minister of Interior; Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister; Sultan bin Salim Al Habsi, Minister of Finance; Dr Hamad bin Said Al Aufi, Head of the Private Office; Abdulsalam bin Mohammed Al Murshidi, President of Oman Investment Authority; Said bin Hamood Al Mawali, Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technology; Salim bin Nasser Al Aufi, Minister of Energy and Minerals; Anwar bin Hilal Al Jabri, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion; and Nasra bint Salim Al Hashmi, Ambassador of Oman to Kenya and NonResident Ambassador to Rwanda.
