Name released in fatal Kanawha County fire

BELLE, W.Va. — Local authorities have identified the man killed in a Kanawha County blaze near Belle Friday night. Roger Young died in the fire along Witcher Creek Road, according to Belle Fire Chief David Fletcher. Two other victims were hospitalized in Charleston following the fire. They were taken to a burn center in Ohio for further care. Their conditions have not been released. Firemen arrived to find the home fully engulfed in fire. All three victims were in the house when the blaze broke out. It took multiple crews several hours to get the fire out. The names of the victims have not been released. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
