As part of the latest Series 5 news on September 7, the Forza team reiterated that Forza Horizon 6 is still scheduled to arrive on PS5 later this year. An exact release date was not announced, but the latest update confirms the previously announced 2026 release window remains on track. Forza Horizon 6 PS5 Release Still Planned for 2026 In its official September 7 Series 5 update, the Forza team directly addressed PlayStation players still waiting for the game. 'If you're planning your trip to Discover Japan on PlayStation 5, stay tuned! Forza Horizon 6 will be releasing on PS5 later this year,' the developers said. Players can also add Forza Horizon 6 to their wishlist on the PlayStation Store to be notified of availability. For now, 'later this year' is as specific as the developers are getting. With September already underway, the statement leaves the final months of 2026 as the remaining window for the PS5 release.
