82-year-old man, 2 dogs died in Monday's Hidden Lane fire that damaged 4 homes

Additional details have been released by the Laredo Fire Department about Monday's fire on Hidden Lane that left a man dead and another injured. The man found dead was 82 years old and was found in fire debris, while the injured man was 35 years old and was transported to a hospital with burns to his arms, according to the fire department. Two dogs also were found deceased. Occupants attempted to extinguish the fire. Four homes were affected by the fire. Three were a complete loss, while the fourth sustained heat damage to its exterior. The men's identities were not immediately available. No other injuries were reported. The cause and origin of the fire remain under investigation by the Laredo Fire Department's Arson Division.
