Islamabad police impose traffic diversions at Khanna Pul, Lehtrar Road

Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) has imposed traffic diversions at Khanna Pul and Lehtrar Road from Saturday until further orders due to ongoing construction work, advising motorists to use alternative routes and allow an additional 20 to 25 minutes for their journeys. An ITP official said traffic heading towards Tramri Chowk, Lehtrar Road and Ali Pur should use alternative routes via Faizabad, Rawal Dam Chowk and Park Road. Motorists travelling from Khanna Pul towards Islamabad Expressway have been advised to use Ghouri Town Link Road. The official said traffic police personnel had been deployed at key points to guide motorists and ensure smooth traffic flow during the construction work. Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Kianat advised citizens to plan their journeys in advance and allow extra travel time to avoid inconvenience.
