I can't believe the day is finally here! Fall into Placeis out in the world today. I'm getting ready for my release event tonight at Morrison Hill Orchard, but taking a quick break to write this newsletter. This one was uniquely challenging to write—I had never attempted to tackle grief through the main character's perspective before and was a bit daunted by the prospect. How do you balance such a heavy topic with the innate optimism that so many readers turn to the romance genre to find? I didn't really have an answer, except to write from the heart. So much of this book draws upon my own personal experiences, so it felt a little vulnerable when early reader feedback started rolling in. Was it too much for a romance book? As it turns out, no! I've been overwhelmed by the positive response so far, and today is only the beginning. I hope this book continues to find the readers who need it most. xo, Kristyn
