Hungarian Prime Minister Péter Magyar stated that 12 passengers were killed when a Polish bus overturned on the M3 highway. The accident occurred early Sunday morning in northeastern Hungary, between Mezekeresztes and Mezenádmigy. According to Magyar, the bus veered into a ditch, and at least ten people suffered serious injuries. He expressed his condolences to the families of the victims, wished the injured a speedy recovery, and thanked those involved in the rescue operation. For more breaking news, follow the UA.News Telegram channel. The Hungarian Emergency Services reported that as of 3:00 a.m., firefighters had rescued 35 people from the bus. Rescuers gained access to the interior through the windows; several passengers were trapped under the vehicle. According to Hungarian Interior Minister Gábor Poszfai, there were 47 people on the bus, several of whom suffered serious injuries. The bus driver was taken into custody. Poland's Minister of Foreign Affairs confirmed the accident and stated that the Polish side is in constant contact with the Hungarian authorities, though details still need to be clarified.
