NFL Fans React To ProFootballTalk's Week 1 Power Rankings

The 2026 NFL season is finally here, which means it's time for people to unveil their premature Week 1 power rankings. Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk released his Week 1 power rankings ahead of Wednesday night's Super Bowl rematch between the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks. Out of respect for the defending champions, he has Seattle ranked No. 1 among all 32 teams. The Los Angeles Rams, Houston Texans, Denver Broncos and Buffalo Bills round out the top five for Florio's rankings. As you'd imagine, NFL fans had a lot of complaints about Florio's power rankings – albeit a single game hasn't been played yet. 'Crazy to see Steelers below Bengals and Ravens especially not only beating them but with much lesser talent in 2025. Steelers loaded everywhere and going to win AFC North again,' a Steelers fan argued. 'Not the worst ranking I've seen. Giants are definitely better than the Vikings/Steelers. But besides that, can't argue too much. Giants to still have to prove the doubters wrong starting on SNF,' a Giants fan commented. The Arizona Cardinals currently have the lowest win total at 3.5, with the Miami Dolphins close behind at 4.5. While the Cleveland Browns and New York Jets also have low win totals, the talent on their rosters is undeniable.
