Former Love Island star Charleen Murphy talks about her experience on the show, the lack of romance, the new friendships she formed, her thriving social media presence, and her upcoming move to the UK, while candidly addressing fan curiosity at the Hayu STELLAR InstaStar Awards. Charleen Murphy is barely home from the villa, and fans are already eager to see her return to Love Island. So when we caught up with her at this year's Hayu STELLAR InstaStar Awards, we had to get to the bottom of the rumours. 'I don't know. It would have to make sense. It depends where my dating life is, it's not good at the minute, there's no one. My roster is completely empty; the bench is completely gone. There was never one to begin with! It would need to make sense time-wise. So I'd have to see. Who knows! ' she simply says. She certainly ruffled feathers as a Casa Amor girl when she descended on the villa this summer. But thankfully all the negative comments have calmed down. 'It's been good. My life hasn't died down at all, I'm on the go the whole time. But it's definitely crazy to have a new audience the whole time,' she says. 'I have new people on my page, different eyes, different opinions. I've always dealt with that from my job but it's on a bigger level now. Everything I do is under the microscope. It's hard but I love it. I loved doing Love Island, it was such a good experience. ' And while she was coupled up, very briefly, with Kavan Murphy, she didn't find love on the show. Well, romantic love that is. She has a firm friendship with her fellow Casa girls including Martha Rothwell and winner Julia Majchrzak. 'We're all still friends. Me and Martha went out last weekend. Me, Julia and Martha went to Magic Mike. It was so good! It was the best night of my life. I didn't find love in there, but I found friendship. Friends are forever, men are for never! ' After her stint in the villa, Charleen revealed that she planned to relocate to the UK. However, her move is going slower than expected. 'I'm looking at apartments, but I need to be there to look at them and do viewings. I haven't been in any country long enough to do that. So it's pending. 'It's going to be fun but it's definitely overwhelming. I've never done that before. It's a really big thing. My dad said we'll get a van and shove all my stuff in. '
