Police say the man's truck was blocking the only entrance to an apartment building A Guelph man is charged with impaired driving after he was found passed out in a running vehicle Sunday morning. Just after 6:30 a.m. police were called to an apartment building to investigate someone who had been parked in a running pickup for approximately three hours. Officers arrived to find the man asleep in the driver's seat of the truck, which was blocking the only entrance to the building. Officers woke the man and noted signs of impairment. After failing a roadside breath test the man was transported to the police station, where further tests confirmed he had more than twice the legal limit of alcohol in his system. A 39-year-old Guelph man is charged with impaired operation.
