Getty Images / Riley Gaines / Rockstar Games / GTA 6 Republicans, especially the MAGA brand, continue to prove they are a weird bunch of people. The queen of mediocre, Riley Gaines, said something profoundly stupid about GTA 6 and fertility rates that got her flamed for it. Riley Gaines, who for some reason has become a media darling among those on the left for finishing 5th in a college swim race and blaming it on a transgender athlete, took a break from 'championing women's sports' to focus on Rockstar Games' Grand Theft Auto 6 . During the segment on The Big Weekend Show ove the Labor Day Weekend, Gaines decided to comment on the optional in-game romance feature that gamers can engage with in GTA 6's duo protagonists, Jason and Lucia. Gamers can either see 'Bonnie and Clyde' of Grand Theft Auto's relationship flourish, or witness it fall apart as they perform all types of felonies throughout the fictional locations of Leonida / Vice City in the highly anticipated video game. Gaines bizarrely and stupidly equated gamers being too focused on the virtual relationship, and not focused on making real babies that hilariously her favorite president Donald Trump is making increasily too expensive to take care of. She hoped that the game would push people to 'make more babies'; no, we're not kidding either. '''ll be optimistic and say that hopefully, this transcends into that,' Gaines said. 'These online, weird, parasocial relationships, I mean, in this case, a romantic relationship, hopefully these people, particularly men, playing these games realize they like the feeling of love, romantic love, and they'll go out in the real world and find it.' 'Because I'll tell you what, we are in a population decline. We need more babies. You can't have babies, real babies, mouths to feed, from video games. Hopefully this transcends into real-life romantic relationships.' Girl… what? Gamers hit pause on their gaming and had time to flame Gaines for basically saying men play video games so much they forgo actual physical relationships, when that's not remotely the case. 'You can always rely on conservatives to blame muh birthrates on ANYTHING other than the government and institutions crushing young men and families with taxes and immigration. Get the H-1Bs and guest workers out of here and stop giving so much free shit to women. Take the boot off of young men's necks. But no, it's much easier to blame those same young men while you deny them opportunities, tax them to death, make basic life impossible for them, and give it all to women and foreigners,' one person wrote on X (formerly Twitter). Another person wrote in response to Gaines take, ''You cannot have babies from video games' is the kind of bold, searing insight I'd expect from a fifth place finisher cum mediocre Fox News panelist.' Republicans' obsession with fertility rates is mind-boggling. You can see more reactions to Gaines' stupidity below.
