Woman gives birth to baby girl in ambulance in Sahiwal

A woman gave birth to a baby girl in Rescue 1122's ambulance, which was heading towards District Headquarters Teaching Hospital in Sahiwal, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday. Rescue 1122 sources said that the woman was being shifted to the hospital when her condition became critical near Adda Yousafwala in Sahiwal. After seeking permission from her heirs, the Rescue 1122 team handled the case successfully. Both the mother and baby are stable. The mother, who was identified as Aasia Bibi, aged 22, underwent a normal delivery procedure Later, both mother and child were shifted to the Teaching Hospital in Sahiwal's Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
