The Browns' offense is not loaded with the most promising fantasy assets. The unit is young and still developing, but the quarterback play holds most of it back to an extent. During the 2026 season here on Browns Wire, we will review all fantasy-relevant skill players for the team and share whether they are worth a start. Each position has players that can help or hurt your fantasy team, so this will be a form of start or sit. In this piece, we will be looking at the Browns' talented backfield and whether or not they can be used in Week 1 against the Jaguars. Quinshon Judkins is going to be worth a start, but Dylan Sampson is not going to be worth the risk at the moment. Todd Monken is going to want to make this game plan easy for Deshaun Watson, as he worked his way back into the mix after the back-to-back torn Achilles. The best way to do that is by establishing the run, which is where Judkins comes into play. On top of the ground game, Judkins will also likely receive a handful of targets, which makes him a fun flex play in most leagues.
