A fresh rift may be brewing inside the royal family. Now a source claims that King Charles and Prince Harry's reconciliation efforts have been happening behind the scenes for months, and that Prince William is far from thrilled about it. King Charles secretly encourgaged Prince Harry to return home, per source Despite public perceptions that he had stepped back from the family fallout, King Charles has quietly been pushing for his younger son to return to the UK, reports Woman's Day. 'He's always wanted Harry home and has actively encouraged his return – he never wanted them to leave in the first place,' the source said. This new revelation that the King orchestrated Harry's return is reportedly not sitting well with the Prince of Wales. Tensions remain high around the dynamics between King Charles, Prince Harry and Prince William. Now these tensions have allegedly spilled into private conversations at the palace, with the source describing a delicate balancing act between father and elder son. 'Charles has assured William he's not taking sides, he just wants his family together again – his grandkids – but it's not easy for Wills,' the insider explained. 'Charles has told him it will always be him on the balcony, that he is his true heir, but he believes Harry can be turned into an asset now he's behind 'enemy lines'.' The source also pointed to a personal dimension behind the King's motivations, suggesting his faith plays a role in his approach to his sons. 'Don't underestimate how religious Charles is and his faith would never let him abandon Harry. There's a part of Charles that genuinely believes bringing his sons back together could be what finally unites the country,' the insider added. Still, despite William's apprehensions, Harry has been 'forcing' his way in and hoping to mend the rift. Meanwhile, neither Buckingham Palace nor representatives of Prince Harry have publicly commented on any speculation surrounding the brothers.
