Share this News: Pune, 8th September 2026: A 21-year-old woman has been booked under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act after the father of a minor boy filed a complaint alleging that she took his son to a cafe in Talegaon Dabhade and kissed him. According to the complaint, the incident took place on 3rd September when the woman allegedly took the minor to a cafe in the Talegaon Dabhade area. The woman and the minor are reportedly distant relatives and had known each other for around eight to nine months. According to the police, the two had developed a relationship during this period. The following day, 4th September, the woman allegedly visited the minor's residence and expressed her intention to marry him. She also reportedly told the boy's family about the incident at the cafe. After learning about the incident, the minor's father approached the police and lodged a complaint, alleging that the woman had kissed his son with an intention to establish a physical relationship with him. Based on the complaint, police registered a case against the 21-year-old woman under relevant provisions of the POCSO Act. Police are now investigating the circumstances surrounding the alleged incident and the nature of the relationship between the woman and the minor. Further details are awaited as the investigation progresses. The allegations in the complaint are yet to be established through the investigation and legal proceedings.
