Has some major twitch to him. — Alec Lewis (@alec_lewis) September 7, 2026 Hailing from Bryant University, Dyson was scooped up as an undrafted free agent by the Carolina Panthers after the 2024 NFL Draft concluded. He was part of the final wave of cuts during his rookie season, but did end up sticking around on the practice squad. He would sign a futures deal with the Panthers in 2025 and would also go on to appear in 10 games for the UFL's Houston Gamblers. Dyson racked up 27 total tackles and 4.5 sacks. At Bryant University, Dyson appeared in 44 games over 5 seasons. He totaled 104 tackles, 35 TFLs, 25.5 sacks, 6 PBUs, 3 forced fumbles, and an interception. Not too shabby for a pass-rusher. Per Pro Football Focus, Dyson led the Vikings during the preseason with 3 QB hurries and added a sack. The Vikings sent Greenard and a seventh-round selection to the Philadelphia Eagles in exchange for two third-round selections. Greenard and the Vikings just couldn't agree on the pay raise, and Minnesota decided that they'd just get what they could for him. It was understandable enough from the team's side, as Dallas Turner had been waiting in the wings, just waiting for his big opportunity. He now has that and will finally get to start in a role that is squarely his and no one else's, which he's entering the game in relief for. Has to be pretty cool. After the team got their initial roster down to 53 men, they also went ahead and signed Kyle Van Noy to the practice squad. Kyle Van Noy is coming off a quiet 2025 campaign, as it was one that only netted him two total sacks. However, his 2024 was quite serviceable. While Minnesota was enjoying the resurgence of Sam Darnold, Kyle Van Noy was putting up an impressive 21 QB hits, 14 tackles for loss, and 12.5 sacks for the Baltimore Ravens.
