Bunny Shaw nominated for Women's Ballon d'Or

Manchester City's Jamaican striker Khadija Shaw Reggae Girl and Manchester City forward Khadijah 'Bunny' Shaw has been nominated for the 2026 Women's Ballon d'Or. Shaw is among 30 players nominated for the coveted title, along with her teammates Yui Hasegawa, Vivianne Miedema, Kerstin Casparij and Alex Greenwood. The Jamaican striker was recently named the Women's Super League player of the season after scoring 21 goals in 22 appearances. She also won the Football Writers' Association women's footballer of the year award in May and was named Manchester City's player of the season.
