Boots, Barks & BBQ fundraiser set for this weekend in Henderson County

HENDERSON, Ky. (WFIE) - The Humane Society of Henderson County's signature western-themed fundraiser, Boots, Barks & BBQ, is set to return this weekend. According to a press release, the event will feature food, entertainment, unique auction items and opportunities to support local shelter animals. Organizers say guests can expect a night featuring BBQ, music, dancing, a silent auction, wine ring toss, desserts, photo opportunities, merchandise and more. VIP guests will begin the evening from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. with an exclusive bourbon tasting experience, followed by the general event from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. They say this year's silent auction includes a wide variety of donated items and experiences, including diamond earrings, designer handbags, tools, bourbon, family attractions, golf experiences, restaurant gift cards, pet packages, seasonal baskets and more.
