Five Arrested in TikToker Shamsu Bibi Alias Ayesha Gulamna Murder Case

Rawalpindi: Taxila Police have arrested five suspects, including the father and brother of popular TikToker Shamsu Bibi alias Ayesha Gulamna, in connection with her murder case. The arrested suspects have been identified as the victim's father Fazal, brother Bashir, paternal cousin Ehsan, her father's uncle Rozi Khan, and the son of her paternal cousin, Yasin. According to police, social media personality Shamsu Bibi alias Ayesha Gulamna was allegedly killed at the behest of her father and brother with the assistance of their accomplices. Several special teams were working on the murder case on the directives of CPO Hassan Mushtaq Sukhera. Police examined footage from more than 100 CCTV cameras and expanded the scope of the investigation, subsequently questioning the victim's father and brother. Police claimed that the suspects confessed to arranging Ayesha's murder with the help of their associates. According to preliminary investigations, the murder was allegedly committed in the name of honour. Police said the five suspects were arrested on the basis of evidence and findings gathered during the investigation.
