Slim Buster has hit back at fanbases of other Ghanaian artistes, questioning why he is being compared to younger musicians and insisting that his financial position is far stronger than many people assume. Speaking during a TikTok live, the veteran musician said he started his career long before some of the artistes he is being compared to were born. 'When I started, Shatta Wale's mother hadn't even given birth to him. His mother is my size, yet you fools are comparing me to those people,' he said. Slim Buster also rejected the idea that his relatively quiet lifestyle means he is not financially successful. 'Or is it because they come and claim they have money? Having money, my foot,' he said. According to him, he does not actively perform at shows because the money offered to him does not meet his expectations. 'Or is it because we don't talk? If you see my payslip, you will be amazed. I don't play shows because they can't pay me. That is why I decided to stay on my side,' he said. He also warned people against interpreting his decision not to respond to insults as fear. 'Let me warn you for the last time. If you insult me and I don't reply to you, don't think I am afraid of you,' Slim Buster said. He ended by boasting about his appearance, declaring himself the most handsome musician. 'I am the most handsome guy among all the musicians,' he added.
