No. 16 Warrior Women Tied for Second Through One Round at Oregon Tech Fall Invite

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – The No. 16 LC State Women's Golf team put together a solid round to open the Oregon Tech Fall Invitational at the Running Y Ranch Resort on Monday. Isabella Barquet sits in third place after the first 18 holes of the 2026-27 season and the Warrior women are tied for second place with one round to play. No. 4 British Columbia leads the field by 12 strokes. LC State is tied with No. 19 Oregon Tech at 16-over as a team. Barquet carded a 2-over, 74 with a team-best four birdies in the round. Sophomore Taylor Mire is tied for fourth, one stroke behind Barquet at 3-over, 75. She tallied three birdies in her round. Freshman Kamryn Mansfield had a solid collegiate debut. The Grace, Idaho, native shot 5-over, 78, and is tied for 11th through 18 holes. 'Not a bad way to open the fall season,' coach Zach Anderson said. 'The women battled through first tournament jitters and found their footing a few holes in. Solid first collegiate round for Kamryn. Overall, some good things today.' Giulia Belfontali rounded out the scoring group in a tie for 14th. She carded a round of 6-over with two birdies. Jane Barry is not far back in a tie for 23rd.
