Saffron Walden concert celebrates 11-year-old songwriter

Rosie Porter wrote her song Constellations at just nine years old. Singer-songwriter Elliot Porter, who is no relation, helped bring the track to life and released it in October 2024. Martin Porter, Rosie's father, said: "What a great day with brilliant sets from Louis Stammers, Charlie Slater, the Hallelujah Handshake , Jimmy James and Rae, everyone was top of their game in the bright and hot September sunshine. "Thank you to the every one who played, helped in anyway and those who sat in the sun and listened to great music. Elliot added: "It was a brilliant day of music at the Bandstand on Sunday and one of the strongest line-ups we've ever had. "Thanks to everyone who has supported this single and for turning out to celebrate with us in the sunshine. We had a great time."
