M&G Investments (M&G) has appointed Jen Braswell as global head of impact for its £83bn private markets business.
Overall, M&G has £13.8bn under its impact platform, with Braswell's appointment strengthening the firm's ability to originate, manage and scale these investments for institutions, the manager said.
The hire builds on the firm's aim to provide clients with access to opportunities across private credit, infrastructure, real assets and private equity in developed and emerging markets, with a focus on climate, financial inclusion, sustainable food systems and social infrastructure.

In her new role, she will continue to advise the responsAbility executive management team on impact-related topics.
Prior to joining M&G, Braswell was managing director of global impact at EQT. Before that, she held senior leadership roles at British International Investment.
