Bike shed deliberately set on fire in Paisley as cops launch probe

The incident happened at Abbotsinch Retail Park at around 2pm this afternoon. The shed and bikes inside were all badly damaged by the blaze. It is understood the fire is being treated as wilful. Police Scotland has been contacted for comment. A man has been taken to hospital after being "assaulted" in Linwood. Cops were called to Cowal Drive at around 1.35am on Monday, September 7. A man was found and taken to hospital for treatment. A 31-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident. He is due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on Tuesday, September 8. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
