No Compromise on Quality, Transparency in Construction of 100 Houses: DC Fareeda

SOHBATPUR , Sept 7: Deputy Commissioner Sohbatpur Fareeda Tareen has directed officials to ensure quality, transparency and timely completion of 100 houses being constructed by OGDCL for local families, stressing that prescribed construction standards must be strictly followed.
She issued the directives during an inspection of the ongoing housing project, where she reviewed construction progress, quality of building materials, adherence to technical standards and arrangements for basic facilities.
Tareen instructed the officials and construction teams to maintain complete transparency throughout the execution of the scheme and ensure that all work complied with approved specifications.
She emphasized that the houses should be completed within the stipulated timeframe and provide safe, durable and quality accommodation to deserving local families.
The Deputy Commissioner said construction of the 100 houses would help improve access to adequate housing and contribute to better living conditions for the beneficiaries.
She appreciated OGDCL's efforts in undertaking the housing initiative and expressed hope that the company would continue supporting public welfare and contributing to the provision of essential facilities in Sohbatpur.
