'Talk to Me' spinoff I Let You In will bring an immersive horror story to Meta Quest headsets and VR glasses Photo: Meta Meta has unveiled the first look at I Let You In, an immersive horror series set in the universe of the 2023 film Talk to Me. The six-episode series will be available exclusively on Meta Quest headsets and is designed specifically for the company's virtual reality platform. It will also be available on Meta's VR glasses, which are scheduled to launch in spring 2027. Directed by Craig William Macneill, known for Them and The Terror, I Let You In follows a group of young travellers who head to Ibiza in search of the ultimate party. Their experience takes a darker turn when they become addicted to conjuring spirits, described as a supernatural high with deadly consequences. Trent Atherton wrote the series, with Darren Brandl serving as showrunner. The cast includes Aubri Ibrag, Charlotte Maggi, Sofia Hublitz, Julio Peña, Raff Law and Charlie Hiscock. The project was commissioned by Meta and produced by XRTV, an immersive studio founded by Brandl and Jack Davis. The series has completed filming in Spain and is currently in post-production. The original Talk to Me, directed by Danny and Michael Philippou, premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2023. The horror film follows teenagers who discover a mysterious embalmed hand that allows them to communicate with spirits. It became a box office success, earning more than $90 million worldwide. Causeway Films, which produced Talk to Me, is also involved in the new series alongside XRTV and Meta. The company's credits include The Babadook and The Nightingale.
