Sonamura Police, BSF & TSR Joint Operation To Recovered And Seize DRY Cannabis, Yaba Tablets & One Hundai Aura Car.

Sonamura, Tripura, 7th of September, 2026 : Sonamura police arrested one drug peddler at N C Nagar ward no -04, Sonamura Police Station, under Sepahijala District on Monday (7th September, 2026). On specific information of the Sonamura police jointly secret operation 81 BN BSF and 11th BN TSR conducted raid and search at UNC Nagar ward no -03 under Sonamura PS Monday (7th September, 2026). According to Sonamura police today on the basis of secret information conducted raid and search at N C Nagar ward no -04 under Sonamura PS, in the dwelling house of one drug paddler and recovered and seized total 220 gram suspected yaba tablets, android mobile phones, documents and one Hundai aura car which displaying reg. No-TR-03Q-0609 . In this regard one specific case registered at Sonamura ps under NDPS act -1985. The house owner arrested and forwarded in the LD court with police remand prayer, after observing all legal formalities and LD court 03 days police remand allowed. Interacted with media Inspector Tapas Das, Officer in Charge Sonamura Police Station gave details about this matter. OC also stated that such operations against illegal contrabands would continue next day.
