First-term Exams Begin In Govt Schools Across Punjab

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Sep, 2026) First-term examinations have commenced in government schools across Punjab, with over 8 million students participating. According to school education Department, exams are being conducted for students from Grade 1 to Grade 8 for the first term. PECTA has assigned district-wise officers to monitor the examinations, and the organization will provide the question papers for the first-term tests. All government schools are required to conduct the exams using PECTA's official question papers.
