Charlotte (NC) Providence Day School Class of 2028 defensive lineman Charles Ibe was impressed with Virginia Tech's stifling defense on Saturday night when the Hokies held VMI's triple option offense to under 100 yards in the 73-3 season-opening win.
When asked about the visit, Ibe quickly pointed to one thing that stood out among all of the day's events.
"Definitely the atmosphere," he said.
