Students Briefed On Wafaqi Mohtasib's Role, Complaint Redressal Mechanism

HYDERABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Sep, 2026) A special awareness session on the role and services of the Wafaqi Mohtasib and the mechanism for redressal of public complaints was held at St. Bonaventure High School, Hyderabad under the auspices of the Wafaqi Mohtasib secretariat, regional office Hyderabad. Senior Advisor and In-charge, regional office Ghulam Rasool Ahpan and Advisor Dr. Syed Rizwan Ahmed addressed the students during the session. Ghulam Rasool Ahpan gave a brief introduction to the Wafaqi Mohtasib institution and informed the students about its jurisdiction, role and procedure for free and speedy redressal of complaints against Federal government departments and organizations. He urged the students to focus on their education and achieve their goals through hard work, discipline and steadfastness. He also expressed pleasure at visiting his former school and said that he had received his school education from St. Bonaventure High School. Dr. Syed Rizwan Ahmed also encouraged the students to work hard, develop the habit of reading and continue striving to achieve their goals. He stressed the importance of learning English and gaining proficiency in the language, saying that English plays a vital role in higher education, professional development and success. He also shared that he was a former student of St. Bonaventure and had received his school education from the same institution. At the beginning of the session, Principal St. Bonaventure High School Saleem Anjum and other staff members welcomed the guests. The school administration and officials of the Wafaqi Mohtasib secretariat also held a useful discussion on various matters in a cordial atmosphere. During the awareness session, students were informed about the procedure for filing complaints with the Wafaqi Mohtasib secretariat and the online facilities available for this purpose. The students showed keen interest in the session.
