Back to school haircuts and school supplies giveaway in East New York

EAST NEW YORK — GOOD SHEPHERD SERVICES, a New York City-based service organization, will give free haircuts and school supplies to Brooklyn students at Prince Joshua Avitto Community Center on Wednesday, Sept. 9.
From 2:30 to 5 p.m., about 50 students will receive haircuts from Silk the Barber along with backpacks and resources from Good Shepherd while supplies last.
