I spent last week with a horrible cold that took me out for most of the week. However, it was near the end when it completely wiped me out because I took a 12 hour decongestant that ended up dumping a lot of phlegm into my stomach. So, Friday I spent the day running to the toilet unable to even drink water. Did a little checking, because I did NOT feel sick. I had recovered from the cold. No fever. No chills. Just this sudden rush of a headache, then off I'd go. Couldn't hold anything down. I've never actually had this happen before.
I considered going to the ER, but managed some proof that I wasn't fully dehydrated. Figured out it was the medicine by tracking when I started taking it and noting that I had a lot more drainage than usual. The Tracheotomy I had last year left me with a lot of throat scarring and narrowing, which I assume is what has me coughing chronically. Yesterday, I was able to drink water and eat a little food. Lucky that I had some prepared and on hand from earlier in the week. Riced cauliflower, coconut milk, and chocolate/peanut butter protein powder.
Still, I tried to get stuff done and it just wasn't happening. TODAY I am MUCH better as you can see! Woohoo! Also, I found new brushes for hair. They are supposed to be for highlights, but oh wow, do I love them for hair in general and I think I can make some of my own for variety. Just something to shorten my work load.
Have a good Labor day if you're in America! If not, have a good day!
