DC Reviews Progress On 300-bed Teaching Hospital Project

SIALKOT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Sep, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Owais Mushtaq reviewed the progress of under-construction 300-bed project of a new teaching hospital on Commissioner Road here on Wednesday. According to a spokesperson, the deputy commissioner was briefed on the project and directed the concerned authorities to accelerate the pace of construction to ensure its timely completion. He emphasized that the hospital is scheduled to be completed within three years.The project includes an outpatient department (OPD), medical and surgical ICUs, and a 28-bed plastic surgery and burns unit. He said that all healthcare projects were being completed on a priority basis in line with Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif's vision to improve public health facilities.
