Paramount+ and T-Mobile Arena have announced a multi-year partnership that renames the arena's two-acre outdoor entertainment space Paramount+ Plaza, according to a press release. The deal, brokered by AEG Global Partnerships, designates Paramount+ as an official partner and the venue's exclusive streaming partner. The plaza, located on the Las Vegas Strip, will serve as a space for fan experiences and programming tied to events at the 20,000-seat arena. T-Mobile Arena is a joint venture between AEG and MGM Resorts International (NYSE: MGM), and welcomes more than one million visitors annually across more than 100 events. The renamed plaza will debut during Zuffa Boxing's Garcia vs. Benn fight week. A ceremonial weigh-in open to the public is scheduled for Sept. 11, with the main event taking place Sept. 12. The Garcia vs. Benn fight will stream live on Paramount+, which is operated by Skydance Corporation (Nasdaq: PSKY), globally excluding the U.K. and Ireland at no additional cost to subscribers. During fight week, Paramount+ will operate a customer lounge called the Cube, featuring an activation tied to its series MobLand. On Sept. 12, the plaza's screens will broadcast Noche UFC, streaming live from Glendale, Arizona. Paramount+ also serves as the UFC's exclusive U.S. streaming partner, and T-Mobile Arena is the UFC's exclusive Las Vegas arena venue, providing an existing connection between the two brands. "Paramount+ Plaza will give us a dynamic, year-round presence in the heart of Las Vegas where we can create memorable experiences around our programming," said Domenic Di Meglio, Chief Marketing Officer and Data Officer for Paramount+.
