If lately you have been looking in your wardrobe and saying what the fu*k do I wear. Then this post is for you! If truth be told, I'm more of a country girl than a city girl. I grew up with a very outdoorsy lifestyle, and there's nothing I love more than being surrounded by cows and goats whilst strolling through a field with my loved ones. I also love how dressing in the countryside adapts to whatever you're about to do — whether it's a trip to the farm shop, a walk, or just relaxing with a coffee, I always revert to denim and neutral tones. Countryside dressing has an ease to it that's far less stressful than dressing for the city. That said, I live in London, and I wanted to show you how I'll be dressing this autumn and winter. Maybe it's after years working in fashion, I've become far more interested in dressing for the day than hoarding statement pieces the way I used to. Truthfully, I care more about the perfect jean and the cosiest jumper, paired with a great coat and comfortable shoes - honestly I just crave pieces I can actually wear time and time again - get holes in and become softer with age. That said, I still want to look cool — not like I've tried too hard, but a 'rolled out the door' kind of cool. A Ralph Lauren catalogue from the '90s kind of cool. Here's my selection for this autumn city looks inspired by my love for the farm 💕 Thank you for reading Closet Not So Confidential!
