Wonderkid confirms he will replace club legend at Liverpool

An exciting wonderkid has confirmed he will be replacing a club legend at Anfield. Liverpool are very much on the precipice of a new era. Over the last few years so many club legends have departed for pastures new. The team that once brought us pure unbridled joy are not slowly disappearing one by one. Last summer, Trent Alexander-Arnold said his goodbyes. This time around Mo Salah, Ibrahima Konate and Andy Robertson all left the club. Next summer more could follow suit. Joe Gomez is out of contract, alongside Alisson Becker and Virgil van Dijk. It's very likely that virtually no one will remain from the side that won the Champions League and Premier League under Jurgen Klopp. Liverpool's exciting rebuild for the future The club are working hard on creating a new team of superstars. Liverpool are bringing in young players hungry to win trophies and be successful. Bradley Barcola is a great example of that. He has won everything he possibly could at Paris Saint Germain. We've seen Armin Pecsi, Will Wright, Mor Talla Ndiaye, Ifeanyi Ndukwe, Samuel Martinez and Djylian N'Guessan sign for Liverpool over the course of the last 12 months. On top of that Liverpool also broke the U23 transfer record for a goalkeeper to sign Lucca Brughmans. The Belgian shot-stopper who is 6'7 tall has been labelled as the replacement for club legend Alisson, and in an interview after his Man of the Match performance against Anderlecht over the weekend, Brughmans confirmed that is his plan. "The intention is, however, to become their first-choice goalkeeper in the long term," Brughmans said as per HLN. "I'm going to do everything I can to achieve that. I still need to take steps, and I'm happy that I can do that at Genk." That is a huge hint of Liverpool's plans, and how Brughmans will be the Alisson heir. The intention is clearly for him to be considered as a no.1 option. So, it's worth keeping a close eye on his progress.
