Junior Lecturers to Join Sept 10 ‘Chalo Hyderabad' Rally Over PRC, Pension Dues

Hyderabad:The Telangana Gazetted Junior Lecturers Association (TGJLA-475), is set to take part in the 'Chalo Hyderabad', which was called by the Telangana Employees JAC, on September 10. Over the past two years, the TGEJAC said in a statement, it had repeatedly brought its demands, including one for setting up a pay revision commission and abolition of contributory pension scheme, to the government's attention. The government has addressed some minor issues, and it continued to delay the resolution of many critical problems, TGJLA said. It urged all lecturers to participate in the 'Chalo Hyderabad' program for the immediate implementation of promises made in the government's election manifesto.
