Jack Grealish and Johnny Marr amongst big stars at the Oasis London red carpet

A host of celebrities joined Liam and Noel Gallagher on the red carpet in London today to mark the release of the big new Oasis film. Following on from their appearance at the Venice Film Festival just two days ago, Noel and Liam walked the London event as the film gears up for its official release in cinemas later this week. They were also joined by family members, as well as their bandmates from the Live '25 reunion tour - including Paul 'Bonehead' Arthurs and Andy Bell. The movie, from co-directors Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace, has been praised by critics, with the Manchester Evening News hailing it as a 'triumphant homage to Manchester's favourite sons and a lesson in the power of forgiveness'. It will receive a limited run in cinemas from Wednesday, before heading to Disney+ 'later this year'. Amongst them were footballer Jack Grealish, actor Matt Smith, The Smiths' Johnny Marr, and TV presenter Vernon Kay. Also attending the event were singer Lewis Capaldi, actor Stephen Graham, Bastille frontman Dan Smith, actress Vicky McClure, broadcaster Lauren Laverne, and Primal Scream's Bobby Gillespie, who recently spoke to the M.E.N about his love for Noel. Describing the film, writer Steven Knight said: "The Oasis world tour united generations, cultures and countries and spoke to a broken world about reconciliation. 'Don't Look Back In Anger' is not only your ticket to the show – it's a backstage pass and a seat at the table when Liam and Noel sit down together for the first time in 15 years and tell it how it is and how it was.'
