MG News August 18, 2026 (MLN): Masood Textile Mills Limited (PSX:MSOT) has successfully commissioned an aggregate solar photovoltaic capacity of 6.2 MW, which is currently operational. The company apprised its shareholders and the exchange of the development. The installation of approximately 3.8 MW of additional solar photovoltaic capacity is currently underway. Subject to completion, testing and successful commissioning, the company's aggregate operational solar capacity is expected to rise to approximately 10 MW. The company stated that the initiative forms part of its measures to optimize energy costs, reduce reliance on grid-supplied electricity, and advance its sustainability objectives. The information was disseminated through a notification to the Exchange.
