Those issuing such misleading statements from within the party are harming it, while every possible avenue has been pursued to gain access to Imran Khan, PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar said during a media talk. PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd Nov, 2026) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Barrister Gohar rejected all of Barrister Saif's claims and his recent interview, calling them completely false, fabricated and baseless. He said the party leadership and central office-bearers had pursued every possible avenue within the Constitution and law to gain access to Imran Khan, but they were being deliberately denied a meeting with the PTI founder as part of a planned conspiracy. Speaking to the media in Peshawar, the PTI chairman said all avenues of legal action and negotiations had been pursued to meet Imran Khan in jail, including approaching the higher courts. However, despite all efforts and court orders, the government and administration had not allowed the party leadership to meet him even once. He stressed that those issuing such misleading statements from within the party were actually harming the party's cause. Earlier, PTI leader and former provincial minister Barrister Dr Muhammad Ali Saif had levelled serious allegations against his party's current leadership and central leaders. He had said that Barrister Gohar, Salman Akram Raja, Mahmood Khan Achakzai, Asad Qaiser and Allama Nasir Abbas were responsible for the circumstances through which PTI was passing. Barrister Saif had claimed that Barrister Gohar and Allama Nasir Abbas had been formally offered a meeting with Imran Khan but were not going to meet him themselves because they knew that appearing before him could cost them their positions. Barrister Saif, while recounting the events of the previous 26 November long march, severely criticised those who claimed they would sacrifice their lives out of love for Imran Khan, saying that people such as Sohail Afridi, Meena Khan Afridi and Shafi Jan were sitting and eating at a restaurant at a particular location when Bushra Bibi's vehicle was being fired upon, and that only Ali Amin Gandapur was standing with Bushra Bibi. He said Bushra Bibi had defended him one day in jail in the presence of several people, stating, "I trust Barrister Saif because he has openly acknowledged that he has relations with the establishment, whereas the rest of you also have relations but hide them."
