Rancho Santa Fe Rotary helps foster children start school with a smile

Rotary members gathered to prepare the backpacks with essential supplies to help each student begin the new school year feeling prepared, confident and supported. The project reflects Rotary's ongoing commitment to giving back to the community and helping local youth, a news release stated. For the children at San Pasqual Academy, receiving a new backpack filled with supplies is more than simply having the tools needed for school, it is a reminder that the community cares about them and wants to see them succeed, the news release stated, adding that 'The Rancho Santa Fe Rotary Club is proud to support San Pasqual Academy and its students, continuing its tradition of service through meaningful projects that make a positive difference in the lives of local children.'
