Volleyball Recap: Ridgewood's Dominance over Maysville Continues

They snuck past the Maysville Panthers with a 3-2 victory. The Generals have not had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them. Ridgewood had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The final set scores came out to 23-25, 11-25, 25-22, 25-15, 15-8. Several Panthers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Lilah Jones, who had 19 assists, nine digs, and four aces. The team also got some help from Emma Tamasovich, who had 25 digs and two aces. The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-4. As for Maysville, they have been struggling for a while as they've lost 26 of their last 30 matchups, dating back to last year. That leaves them at a 3-5 record this season. Ridgewood will take on Sandy Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Maysville, they will face off against John Glenn at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
