Boss of Northern Irish beauty brand says sorry for using 'unacceptable' language in hotel bar

Mother-of-three Linda Stinson, 43, founder and owner of the Bellamianta beauty range, issued the apology over the footage recorded inside the four-star Redcastle Hotel and Spa on the banks of Lough Foyle in Co Donegal. Ms Stinson is from the Aughnacloy area of south Tyrone. The video of her at the hotel went viral after being posted online last week. The footage shows an exchange between Ms Stinson and a man in the bar. She is heard telling the man to 'go and f*** yourself' and calling him a 'f***ing rod' and a 'f***ing scumbag' before using a derogatory term for disabled people. In full, her statement on Instagram reads: 'Many of you will have seen the video footage of me published by the media at the weekend. "I want to sincerely apologise for the language I used. "It was inappropriate and entirely unacceptable. "I recognise that my words have caused hurt and distress, and I am deeply sorry. "I take full responsibility for my actions and am committed to learning from this experience. "I am truly sorry.' Ms Stinson founded Bellamianta in 2015 before launching the Iconic Bronze tanning range. Bellamianta was founded 'with a mission to develop clean, alcohol-free, high-performing formulas that deliver flawless results while caring for the skin', according to the company. It is described as one of Ireland's leading luxury tanning, skincare, and cosmetics brands.
