Six detained as Shamokin PD continue shooting investigation

SHAMOKIN — Six people, including a juvenile, were detained after multiple people reportedly fired weapons in the area of East Chestnut and South Vine streets Monday evening, according to Shamokin Police Chief Raymond Siko II. This is the second investigation police have launched into a shooting incident in the Fifth Ward in about a week.
