Where Alabama football landed in US LBM Coaches Poll after Week 1 win

Alabama football is onto SEC play, and, after a Week 1 win against East Carolina, the Crimson Tide did not move much in the latest rankings. After a 48-10 home win against the Pirates, Alabama landed at No. 12 in the latest US LBM Coaches Poll rankings, falling one spot from the preseason poll. The Crimson Tide did not receive a first place vote. Alabama is one of 10 SEC teams ranked in the latest poll along with Georgia, Texas, LSU, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Missouri and Florida. Ohio State landed at No. 1 with 50 first place votes. Georgia, Texas, Notre Dame, Indiana and Oregon also received first place votes. No. 12 Alabama will face Kentucky on the road at 2:30 p.m. CT Saturday, Sept. 12.
