Preliminary investigations indicate that the suspects allegedly attempted to cash a cheque that was reportedly stolen. The owner of the business became suspicious during the transaction and immediately contacted the police. All four suspects were taken into custody. The Police Administration is encouraging all business owners, financial institutions, and employees who process financial transactions to remain on heightened alert when dealing with cheques and other negotiable instruments.
