HP's OmniBook X 14 and Ultra 16 bring NVIDIA RTX Spark N1X, up to 128GB unified memory and local AI workloads to thin laptops this autumn. HP has previewed the OmniBook X 14 and OmniBook Ultra 16 as two of the first thin laptops built around NVIDIA RTX Spark N1X. The HotHardware report says the machines can be configured with up to 128GB of unified memory and up to 1 petaflop of FP4 AI compute, while HP's announcement positions them for local AI, development and creative work. HP OmniBook RTX Spark specifications The OmniBook X 14 is the smaller model, measuring 13.53mm at the rear and weighing 3.77lb. It has a 14-inch 3K OLED touchscreen with a 120Hz refresh rate, an 80Wh battery rated for up to 15 hours, and storage options reaching 2TB. HP lists configurations with either 18 CPU cores and 5,120 Blackwell GPU cores or up to 20 CPU cores and 6,144 GPU cores. The 16-inch OmniBook Ultra 16 is 15.73mm thick and has a 99Wh battery rated for up to 17 hours. Its larger chassis adds a microSD card reader and HP's 'tower hinge and trunk' cooling design, which creates more ventilation space behind the display. Both laptops include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, USB4 and 3K OLED displays. RTX Spark laptops are coming this fall HP says both laptops should reach HP.com this fall. The OmniBook Ultra 16 will also be sold through Best Buy, while the OmniBook X 14 will be available through other retailers. Pricing will be announced closer to availability, and HP has not listed UAE pricing or a local release date. The RTX Spark platform combines Arm-based CPU cores with Blackwell graphics on one package. Notebookcheck's coverage reports that both laptops can use the higher 20-core/6,144-core configuration as well as the smaller 18-core/5,120-core option. HP also previewed an RTX Spark-powered OmniDesk desktop, but has not published full specifications for it. For earlier context, NVIDIA's RTX Spark announcement covers the platform's move into Windows PCs, while tbreak's earlier RTX Spark laptop coverage looks at another manufacturer's approach.
