Ditch the Vape Day: Advocacy group launches initiative to get teens to stop vaping

LANSING, Mich. (News 10) - A new nationwide initiative to get teenagers to stop vaping is launching in Lansing on Tuesday. The ABD Advocacy Agency is launching the inaugural Ditch the Vape Day, a nationwide youth-vaping prevention and advocacy initiative, during a press conference at Everett High School on Tuesday, Sept. 8, at 1 p.m. You can livestream the event on the free News 10+ app. The program will feature national, state and local youth, public-health, tobacco-control, legislative and community perspectives, followed by a formal media Q&A and individual interview opportunities. A'Lynne Boles Dukes, founder and CEO of ABD Advocacy Agency LLC and creator of this initiative, is a Lansing Everett alum and opted to hold the press conference launching the program at her alma mater.
