Former Falconets Head Coach, Christopher Danjuma, has been appointed as the new Head Coach of the senior national women's team, Super Falcons of Nigeria.
Danjuma, who has extensive experience working with Nigeria's women's national teams, is set to take charge of the senior women's team as the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) reshapes the technical structure of the Super Falcons.
Former Super Eagles captain and coach, Austin Eguavoen, will supervise Danjuma and provide technical oversight as the team moves into its next phase.
The appointment comes after the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) dismissed the previous Super Falcons technical crew following Nigeria's disappointing 2026 campaign.
Danjuma's immediate task will be to restore confidence, strengthen the team and ensure the Super Falcons remain competitive at the highest level of African and international women's football.
